Is there a way to enable horizontal scrolling with a trackpad (like on a MacBook where you slide left/right with two fingers on the trackpad)? I know the carousel can be navigated through the pagination and dragging but our client has asked if that's a feature that can be enabled.
Yes, the Nectar Slider in Salient supports horizontal scrolling with trackpads out of the box. The slider includes an option called "Enable Swipe on Desktop", which allows users to click and drag or use trackpad gestures (like two-finger horizontal swiping on a MacBook) to navigate slides smoothly.
If your client’s slider is not responding to trackpad gestures, please ensure this option is enabled in the Nectar Slider settings within the page builder as shown below:
Hi! I don't see that option on either. Flickity was the one I was originally using, and I just toggled to Owl Carousel but don't see the "Enable Swipe on Desktop" options. (Screenshot of settings attached.)
