It seems there's some CSS that is affecting the width of the header, making it stretch beyond the maximum mobile screen size.
To troubleshoot this, please check for plugin conflicts by deactivating the third-party plugins, then reactivate them one by one to see which one causes the issue.
I tried disabling both plugins and css to no avail. It seems that the native salient testimonial slider was the issue. I disabled that row and the hamburger is now visible. Why would that be?

Hey there,
I'm not seeing the hamburger menu on this website's homepage for a mobile device. It works as expected on any other page. Any suggestions?
Hi Bentelin,
Thank you for getting in touch.
Kindly confirm if you have enabled the mobile header feature to enable us troubleshoot further.
If not yet, then kindly navigate to Salient > Header Navigation > Mobile Header and select your prefered settings like the layout, etc
We'll be waiting for your response.
Thanks.

Also, I recommend updating to the latest version of the theme, as this could also be the issue. Here's the documentation on the available methods for updating Salient: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/#methods.
To get a list of Bug Fixes and new Feature add-ons in the Latest Theme updates, view the change log here http://themenectar.com/changelogs/salient.html.
Try that and let us know how it goes.
