You can use the "All-in-One WP Migration" plugin(All-in-One WP Migration) to export and import your entire portfolio, including images, between sites. It handles the process seamlessly.
Please give it a try and let us know if you need any further assistance.
Thank you for getting back to us, and for the clarification.
You’re absolutely right, All-in-One WP Migration exports the entire site, not just portfolio items. Sorry for the inconvenience.
If you'd like to export only the portfolio content and associated images, you can use WordPress's built-in export/import tools by following these steps:
1. On the source site:
-Go to Tools > Export
-Select Portfolio as the post type
-Download the export file
2. On the destination site:
-Go to Tools > Import
-Choose WordPress from the list and install the importer if prompted
-Upload the previously exported file
When asked, choose the option to Download and import file attachments to bring over the images as well
This method ensures only your portfolio items (and their media) are transferred, without affecting the rest of your site.
Let us know if this works for you or if you need further assistance.
Is there a good way to export the portfolio from one site including it's images and import it into an different site/install?

This looks like it's exporting the entire site. I don't see an option to just export the "portfolio" database and images etc.
