Thank you for getting back to us and that's an excellent question. You do not have to provide all three video formats.
For modern web development, providing just the MP4 file is now sufficient, as it is universally supported by all current browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.).
If you do provide multiple formats, the browser simply uses the first one on the list it supports. For simplicity and the best compatibility, we recommend providing just the MP4 file.
Do I have to include all 3 video formats or is the mp4 format sufficient? If I embed all 3 formats, which one does the browser access?

Hey Again,
Thanks for reaching out! .
- Only Self Hosted Videos will play on Mobile.
- Make sure they are in 16:9 ratio for the mobile to render them correctly.
- Convert the videos and then add them as per their appropriate file format: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/page-builder-row/#video-background .
- Be sure to turn off this option in Salient Theme Options Panel -> General Settings -> Functionality Tab
- For Mobile IOs users, make sure your device is not in power saving mode.
Best,
