Prevent client from accidentally removing items from pages

    Hello!

I have a somewhat odd question. I will give my clients access to the wp-pages, because I want them to be able to update the text-parts of the content. But, I am a bit afraid that they will accidentally delete some item in the visual composer. Is there a way I can like take away their permission to delete stuff and have them just edit the text? Like locking the items? Or would you suggest a completely different approach?

    Cheers!

    Hey ,

See url: https://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities . You probably need to set them to contributor.

    Thanks

I don\'t think you understand my question. I don\'t want to set them to contributor.

The thing is the PAGES, which are built with the visual composer. I want my customer to be able to edit the text-bits that are in the PAGES, but I am worried they might accidentally delete something from the page, when I give them acces to edit pages. My question is thus, is there a way I can, in the visual composer, lock some of the items on the page? so that my customer (which I have set to a custom role) CAN edit the text-content, but NOT delete anything in the visual composer.
