My issue is that i installed a business blog demo but I cant edit the footer. I already found out it's done through the global section but its not there either.
as an fyi I already check the salient version and updated the role manager section.

Since you are using the Standard Footer you can change the Widgets via "Appearance -> Widgets secion in the WP Dashboard.
