First of all, thank you for the beautiful style and design of the Salient theme — it’s one of the main reasons I decided to purchase and use it. I’ve recently started working with it and truly appreciate its elegance and flexibility.
However, I’m currently facing two persistent issues:
1️⃣ Mobile Menu Collapsing on iPhones
The mobile menu collapses immediately after opening on iPhones (tested on multiple devices and browsers).
Here’s what we’ve already tried to fix it:
Deactivated all plugins, including FlyingPress and other caching tools.
Deactivated all custom code snippets.
Tested different Off-Canvas menu types.
Adjusted JavaScript loading behavior in performance settings.
Applied several custom PHP and CSS fixes suggested in the support community and by AI.
Unfortunately, the problem remains.
At the moment, I’ve switched the menu style to “SlideOutFromSideHoverTriggered”, which prevents the site from collapsing — but this is only a temporary workaround.
My preferred style is “SlideOutFromSideOnly”, which was actually one of the reasons I purchased the theme, as I really like its clean and modern behavior.
Could you please help identify why SlideOutFromSideOnly causes the menu to collapse on iPhones and how to fix it permanently?
2️⃣ Product Filter Not Displaying Variations
The second issue concerns my color filter.
When selecting a color (for example, green), the filter only shows the parent products, not the child variations, even though:
Each variation is set to Visible in catalog and search results.
“Show in filters” is enabled,
Despite these settings, the filtered catalog does not display the variation products as expected.
I would really appreciate your help with both issues — the mobile menu collapsing and the filter not showing variations.
