The product images in the gallery carousel are showing up with poor quality. Sometimes one or two load correctly, but most of the time they look blurry. If I click into a product and then go back to the gallery, the images reload and appear sharp — but by default, they almost always display with low resolution.
All my original product images are 1333x1333px, so resolution shouldn’t be the issue.
Could you please help me identify what might be causing this and how to make the images display in full quality by default?
This behavior, blurry images on first load that sharpen up after a page interaction, is a classic symptom of a lazy loading or JavaScript optimization conflict. Your high-resolution images exist, but the script that is supposed to load them is being delayed or blocked on the initial page view.
Please disable the lazy load setting on the elements and also excluding salient core js scripts in the Delay/Defer Javascript Execution setting in your performance/optimization plugins.
You can also try to regenerate the thumbnails using a free plugin like "Regenerate Thumbnails"
Hi,I have completely disabled the Lazy Load option in the Salient theme settings and I have also regenerated all thumbnails, but the issue remains exactly the same.
