Pixelated images in the Gallery

    Hello,

I am having an issue with images when creating my photo gallery using the Salient template. It displays pixelated images on desktop only. I have attached a screenshot of my settings.
What do you think? I imported large, high-resolution images. They display fine in the lightbox, it's just the gallery preview that's blurry.
Is there anything I can do to fix this?
    Thank you.

    Hello Regis,

Thank you for the screenshot; it helped identify the issue immediately.

The pixelation is happening because of the value entered in the "Image size" field. You currently have it set to 50vh, but this field requires a specific WordPress image size name (like full, large, or medium) rather than a viewport unit.

Because the system does not recognize "50vh" as a valid image source dimension, it is defaulting to a small thumbnail size and stretching it to fit your gallery height, resulting in the blurriness.

To fix this: Locate the "Image size" field and change the value from 50vh to full (or large, etc).

This will ensure the gallery loads the high-resolution version of your photos to match the large display height you have set.
