    Hi guys,

I'm missing a Demo in my Demo Importer, in fact "Signal"

    https://themenectar.com/salient/signal/

Tried resetting the section but this particular demo wouldn't show.

    What can I do?

    Thanks!

    Hi Daniel,

Thanks for reaching out and I trust you're doing well.

Please confirm the salient version you're currently running on.

These are new features available in the latest theme versions.

    Kind regards,

    Hi,

that would be 12.1.3 I just realized. Updated the theme and now I see it!

Thanks that was just too easy...

    Best

But now I have directly another question: Is there a way to work on another demo (and customize it) while still having the old one intact?

Of course I do backups, but is there something like a "experimenting /playing field" that I could turn into my new website after playing with a new demo?

    Hello Dan,

    Great to have you back!

It is not possible to run two full demos simultaneously on the same WordPress installation because the main Demo Importer overwrites global settings such as Theme Options, Typography, and Colors. Importing a completely new demo would immediately alter the appearance of your live site.

However, you can import these specific demo templates directly into any new or existing Page, Post, or Portfolio item where the WPBakery Page Builder is active.

By using the Salient Studio (or the "Templates" tab within WPBakery), you can pull in the full page layouts from the "Signal" demo (or any other) on a page-by-page basis. This approach is the perfect "experimenting field" because it brings in the content and layout of the new demo without touching your site's global headers, footers, colors, or typography settings. Once you have customized a page to your liking, you can simply publish it or set it as your new homepage whenever you are ready.
