    Hello ThemeNectar team,

I`m using Salient on a couple of websites for own and mainly clients projects.

For SEO and AI SEO it is crucial to add TOC (Table of Contents) elements to posts and pages. Salient doesn`t offer this feature yet. Will this be part of future releases?

Thank you for some information o this.

    Kind regards

    Joe

    Hello Joe,

    Thanks for writing in!

While a native "Table of Contents" element is not currently included in the Salient WPBakery element library, it is a frequently requested feature that our development team is considering for future roadmap updates.

In the meantime, we recommend the following professional workflows to implement a Table of Contents (TOC) that integrates seamlessly with Salient’s layout:

    1. Recommended Third-Party Plugins

Since Salient follows standard WordPress coding practices, several lightweight plugins work perfectly with the theme's structure:

    • LuckyWP Table of Contents: Highly recommended for Salient because it allows for deep customization of colors and typography to match your theme settings.

    • Easy Table of Contents: A popular choice that can automatically insert a TOC based on your H1-H6 tags without manual placement.

    2. Manual Implementation (Salient Native Elements)

If you prefer to avoid extra plugins, you can create a manual TOC using native Salient features:

    • Anchor Links: Use the "Icon List" or "Text Block" elements to create your list of items.

    • Row IDs: Assign a unique "Developer ID" to your target rows (e.g., section-1).

    • Linking: Link your list items to those IDs (e.g., #section-1) to enable smooth scrolling, which is natively supported by Salient's script.

    Hope this helps!

    Best regards,
