Is there a built-in way to add Skip links to the main content area for accessibility? Or, is anyone successfully using WP Accessibility, if so, what settings are you using?

I have WP Accessibility installed and active but while the Skip links are visible in the html source the links never show up in the browser - or tabbing does not activate them.
