    Hello Salient team,

My website is very slow, and I think there is a problem. I saw that on my homepage, the console wrote a lot of request (especially images) from the blog posts that are in the homepage. It's a Meta Overlaid view so there aren't any text or images from the blog in the homepage.

Have you got an idea to fix this, because 120 requests it's a lot.

    Thanks per advance.

Yes, the minification reduced the amount of CSS & JS files, but with this, I\'ve got the problem that I explained under.

You see, the files from Apple, Vimeo or Kickstarter and also the pictures like a Player.gif (medias.juliens.me) are loading in the homepage even if the post is not showing.

So, have you got an idea to fix it. (It\'s maybe linked to the fact that we can display the full article but I choose to display only the featured picture and the title overlaid.

    Thanks you.

    Hey again,

Ok, I found the problem. I simply activated the Post Excerpt limit in the Salient Panel to 1. ; so just 1 character is displayed and not any pictures or files.

This removed 14MB to the homepage, you can close the ticket, sorry for the inconvenience.

    Julien.
