I want to enable VC for some custom post types in order to use the template feature of VC.
This was posted in the themeforest discussion two months ago.

How can this be done if we are using the salient enabled VC. I can't find an options section anywhere. Does it need to be set in the code somewhere? If so where?

Never mind. I found it under the Wordpress settings section.
