I'm trying to optimize my pagespeed score and having some problems minifying the css and javascript.

I have spent a good amount of time trying to research this online without any luck, I would like to add that in the comments section of themeforest.com you mention many times to use wp minify to speed up the theme and combine css and javascript but you never link to instructions or sample settings, and the video that you post in the comments doesn't work, it would be very helpful to link to this information somewhere easy to find:

I have installed both w3 total cache (didnt use minify settings) and wp minify for only the css and javascript minification, But I am still getting noticed for having a lot of http requests:
