It\'s ok I\'ve worked it out, looks like the social share buttons I had at the base of the page were causing the issue. Not sure why though..?

Yeah sure, it was the social share buttons for me... Where people can share your site on Twitter, facebook, LinkedIn etc. if you have that on your home page, remove it and update the Wordpress post and reload the page... Hope it works for you too!
