I purchased the All in one Visual Composer Extension plugin http://codecanyon.net/item/visual-composer-extensions-all-in-one/7731868. Although compatible, apparently there is a problem with the bundled version of Salient visual composer that causes a few of the buttons to make links not work.

It has been rectified in the updated version of Visual Composer, but not in the Salient Version.

For example, on the URL provided at Health-life-dental-insurance.com the orange button doesn't allow for a link.

The support for the All in one extensions plugin says the below-

Hi, it’s a known bug of previous version Visual Composer, please try to update to the latest one which have fixed this problem.
