    Hi,

Having issues with portfolio... I do not wnat my portfolio items to go to their own specific pages. And I do not want them to load in lightbox. Somehow I set it up so that they no longer link to specific pages, however the images just load larger versions in a lightbox. I want them to link directly to my services page.

Ive gone in and added an external project URL on my portfolio pages, however the portfolio when I click an item still loads the lightbox image and does not link to my external project URL.

    How can I fix this?

    Hey ,

After Updating be sure to Activate Salient Visual Composer as its now a standalone plugin from here :

If you prefer to update manually see: http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Themes

I have a similar question, but this time want to check the \'lightbox-only\' option, but also cannot find it. I have salient 6.0.4. with the visual composer installed. The home page template has been set to \"portfolio\", with the desire for all images to not be linked to a separate page, but only the lightbox when clicked upon. There\'s only 2 portfolio settings I can check on that my homepage (see attached), and as a template automatically summoning the portfolio, there is no portfolio needed to be inserted into the visual composer, upon which I can choose edit, as your screenshot shows.

Going to the portfolio and general theme options brings up similar choices, including Auto Lightbox Image Links, but this does not pertain to portfolio images, even with the URL set. Thanks.

After some research, I\'m thinking this option just isn\'t there for the portfolio template (correct me if I\'m wrong). So I set a different home page with default template, and from there inserted the portfolio and was able to check the lightbox button. My next question comes from one you\'ve answered many times, about the ability to change the size of the lightbox, to more of a full-width size. Changing the large media size, via settings, and then regenerating thumbnails and/or reuploading images isn\'t working for me. Thanks.

    Hey Seth,

Have you tried using this plugin : https://wordpress.org/plugins/force-regenerate-thumbnails/ .

    Thanks

    Hey Again,

Please create a private ticket with login details so we can check on this. Some users reported this issue and were only able to resolve it after creating a new install . So you might have to remove/replace the WP Core files.

    Thanks
