I\'ve been using Salient for almost 2 months without any real issue...and I love it! I noticed yesterday that (after clearing browser cash) my Nectar slider images were taking a very long time to load...around 20 seconds. All I see is a black box until the images begin to load. Image rotation is taking place, even before the images load. Some of my images are a little large, but I don\'t think this is the issue as it occurs for all images regardless of the size.

What I\'ve done so far....

• I\'ve disabled all non essential plugins. The only plugin active is Salient Visual Composer.
• I was using W3 Cache...switched to WP Super Cache and settled in on WP Rocket thinking it might be better as a premium cache plugin. I have since disabled all caching while I trouble shoot.
• I\'ve updated Salient to the latest version.
• I\'ve tested with GTMetrix with caching enabled and it gives an excellent score...but the issue persists.
• I\'ve tested without caching and I see where the images load way later.
• In the process of backing up my site before updating Wordpress to the latest version.

I\'m not sure that this is a Nectar Slider problem or an issue with my core WP serving images.

Any recommendations appreciated.
