I would like to update my version of the salient theme. I have version 3.15, but I can see that you are at version 6.0. However in my themes section in wp, it does not say that there are any updates available?
Have you tried this plugin? It\'s what the Salient Devs are recommending. Not sure if there would be any issues jumping from v3 straight to v6, so I\'d strongly suggest doing a backup first.
Thank you so much for your help. I succeeded with installing the update, but now I have a new problem. In visual composer, everytime I do major changes such as adding a testimonial slider, a picture, or a caurosel, WP wont allow me to update my changes. I get this message after reloading the page:
The backup of this post in your browser is different from the version below. Restore the backup.
Glad the update worked! It\'s always a good idea to clear your browser cache after doing updates. Have you tried that? It might help with your new problem.

Auto update the theme to Salient 6.0.4 using this plugin http://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/how-to-update-themeforest-themes-with-the-envato-wordpress-toolkit/
