Just updated to 6.1 last night by uploading the new files. Once I activated visual composer it stopped displaying on edited pages. The content is still in the main textarea but it display as all white. This only seems to be a problem on the edit pages section and that's the only content type I have enabled in Visual Composer. All other plugins are off and everything is up to date.
I downgraded to 4.2 and it did not fix the problem. I can\'t downgrade VC because I do not have any old copies of the version that came with Salient and do now own the regular VC plugin.

I have the same issue. I was unable to upload images in some of the sections.
Hey ,
Please downgrade WP to 4.2 as we are waiting on VC developer to release a fix.
Thanks

I downgraded VC and this worked. Currently using 4.3.5 Visual composer.

Hey ,
We just released a bug fix for WP 4.3 .
Auto update the theme to Salient 6.1.1 using this plugin http://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/how-to-update-themeforest-themes-with-the-envato-wordpress-toolkit/
See changelog: http://themenectar.com/changelogs/salient.html .

This update worked for me.

Hey to anyone who might also be experiencing this issue. I\'ve run into it to …
Check it out: I\'m working right now on the solution (where someone else on Wordpress forums had success) which was:
1) Deleting the wp-admin and wp-includes directories
2) And THEN re-uploading from a clean (freshly downloaded) copy of Wordpress.
