Logged into my site today to continue edits and now I can not longer edit row, elements, etc. in VC. I can clone, move, delete. But nothing happens when I try to click the pencil icon. I have turned off/on the theme. Turned off/ on plugin. Running 6.1.4 all updated. Was working fine yesterday.

I have the same issue since updating. I actually found that the edit dialogue box was appearing, just way down the page and out of sight (I couldn\'t move it back up however). Having turned off plugins I have worked out that it seems to be a compatibility issue with the Ninja Forms plugin, when I deactivated that I could just see the edit dialogue box at the bottom of my screen and was able to drag it back into place. Since then it\'s position seems to have stuck (but I obviously can\'t run the Ninja Forms plugin as things stand).

Thanks Paul. That was it. The Ninja form plugin was the culprit.

Hey! It seems to be an issue with the raw VC itself, I found a solution on the plugin developers page:

For all those who have the problem, that the visual composer editor appears at the bottom of the post / page edit page: I found out, that the plugin ”Ninja Forms” uses the jquery smoothness .css; the editors fixed position is overwritten with “relative” because it’s an UI element, too. You have to open the js_composer_backend_editor.css in wp-conten/js_composer/assets/css/ and scroll down to the element ”.vc_ui-panel” (in my Version its on line 4823). Just set position: fixed to “position: fixed !important”-

This will solve the problem and readjust the editor to his common position.
