    Hi

Can I link from a page separate to the one page to elements within the one page using the custom hashtag links?

    Cheers!

  • Matt replied

In other words, when I navigate away from the One Page, the links in the menu won\'t let me navigate back to hashtag elements within the One Page.

When doing this the site freezes after clicking the same button again on the HOME page.

After refresh the site is back again.

You need to set up two menus bro :-)

The menu for the one pages should be setup like this:

    Menu Item 1 - URL = #first_anchor
    Menu Item 2 - URL = #second_anchor
    Menu Item 3 - URL = #third_anchor

The menu for all \"external\" links (not within the \"one pager\") should be setup like this:

    Menu Item 1 - URL = http://www.yourwebsite.com/#first_anchor
    Menu Item 2 - URL = http://www.yourwebsite.com/#second_anchor
    Menu Item 3 - URL = http://www.yourwebsite.com/#third_anchor

Afterwards, use the following plugin to tell wordpress which menu it should use on what page:

    \"CE WP-Menu per Page\"

To do that...just open the specific page, scroll down and select the specific menu at \"Please select the menu which should be displayed on this page.\"

Should work like a charm :-)

    Cheers,
    Philipp

    Phillipp,

I tried to use the \"CE WP-Menu per Page\" plugin, it works on my pc, but the website does not load on my cellphone...

Is yours working on mobile devices?

  • Mauricio replied

    Nevermind, I figured it out.

You actually don\'t need to use the plugin.

My problem was that I was not putting the / before the #anchor.
