When viewing the site on an android device with the native browser (I have no idea what its called) The menu ghosts (just the text) over the page wether the menu is slide out or not. It works fine on iPhones though.
Because the sites live I switched to the off canvas menu option.
Which created a new issue. the slide out version worked great on the iPhone still but continued to leave the ghost menu on the android browser.
The fullscreen cover works on the android browser but the bottom menu items are cut off on the iPhone... and its just not as attractive over all compared to the slide out imo.
I added a period as bottom text to see if that would 'pull' up the bottom menu items on iPhone and just leave the period off the bottom. Kind of works, but really isn't a solution. I'd just like to get rid of the ghosting text and go back to the slide menu if possible. I'm not even sure where to start troubleshooting such a device/browser specific issue off the top of my head.
Are you running the latest version of those mobile browsers. We had a user having issues and after updating the browser on their mobile devices it was fixed.
I\'m using the default browser on my phone and its up to date. I\'m not sure on the client phone. My phone is too full of junk right now to test out chrome. Not sure about the clients phone, but I\'m edging towards the default browser there as well.
I switched to the menu that uses the widget and it works fine, but I can see how just using the main navigation option would be easier from a end user perspective. So i\'m ok with how it is now, but I\'m still curious with why the text would be left behind like that using the other menu. I would assume that when the container disappears all of the content would as well. We use salient for multiple sites and will use it for many more I\'m sure and would like to keep my options open on how I use the menus instead of just defaulting to the widget one.
