    Hello,

The video is set in the \"header\" as background video is not loaded in the Safari browser. It works fine in Firefox, Internet Explorer and Chrome ... we have updated the \".thaccess\" file with the code indicated in the \"salient_user_guide.pdf\" but still not working.

We have followed the steps in the documentation and in the theme, but still not working.. can you tell us we are doing wrong? Thank you

    Hey ,

Have you converted the video to all formats mp4 , webm, ogv ?. Also be sure to run theme through the online convertor.

    Thanks

Yes, I did it! step by step ..the .mp4, .webm and the .ogg came from the url, your are indicated in the \"salient_user_guide.pdf\":

    http://video.online-convert.com/convert-to-mp4

    http://video.online-convert.com/convert-to-webm

and in the .htaccess we put the code:

    AddType video/mp4 .mp4

    AddType video/mp4 .m4v

    AddType video/ogg .ogv

    AddType video/webm .webm

    AddType video/webm .webmv

Can you tell us what\'s going on and we need to do to fix it?

I to are having the same issue and have followed all the trouble shooting guides in Salient PDF guide.

Mac OSX: El Capitan 10.11.1 (15B42)
    Safari: Version 9.0.1 (11601.2.7.2)

I used the online converter for all 3 file formats

    Modified the .htaccess file
    AddType video/mp4 f4v f4p m4v mp4
    AddType video/ogg ogv
    AddType video/webm webm

Confirmed with Hosting provider its returning the correct MIME type.
We did a CURL for a sample video and returned Content-Type: video/mp4

Tested this on one mac and it works fine, tested on another Mac with identical versions, and doesn\'t work.

Very keen to resolve this as this is becoming a huge issue with our target market and the high amount of users on this platform using Safari.

NOTE: I have also replicated this problem with your demo site too.

    Please advise :-)
