When adding billing and shipping details during checkout using woo commerce it's not possible to select a State from the dropdown list element. I have noticed that there are some discussions on certain forums discussing the same problem. The site is up-to-date with woo commerce and other plugins but still running Salient 4.1.1.

The first thing I tried was to disable plugins - no change. So I changed to default twenty fifteen WP theme and the issue was resolved. So I upgraded the Salient theme, first to 5.5.6 (same problem) then tried 6.1.5. All of these measures did not fix the issue when I switch theme to Salient.

I also noticed that when I hover the mouse of the State dropdown element I see a Run script "void(0)" message pop up in the bottom of the browser window. I investigated this also and do not see the same notification when I use other sites I have developed using Salient and woo commerce so I am pretty confident pop up windows (which I allow) and javascript is enabled. I also tried Firefox and Chrome where the same problem exists and the same javascript notification comes up for just this site.

I've run out of ideas. Can you please help. Thanks!

I reinstalled to latest version and emptied cache... that did the trick. Can\'t believe I missed that! but glad you were on to it.
