    hey, when using this option and entering e.g. 4 colums nothing happens, there is only one colum in frontend with one image of the product category which links to the shop category page

    ah there is also product category, hard to find because in the vs not everything of woocommerce is showing up when I click woocomerce

    Yes Woocommerce does not allow VC in categories.
