Hi there!

I'm trying to update Visual Composer throught Wordpress but I'm having this problem.

"Fatal error: Cannot redeclare ... (previously declared in ...)"

When I get to Visual Composer Faq it says that

It may be so that there is already instance of Visual Composer installed on your WP site(Visual Composer has been included in your theme). In order to install standalone default Visual Composer version you should contact your WP theme author in order to get step-by-step information on how to remove in-built Visual Composer version from you WP site and install default Visual Composer without loosing extra functionality that may be added by your WP theme author.

So please could you be so kind to help me updating Visual Composer whithout messing up my webpage or causing any other problems ??

Finally I did it by mysleft, manually. I updated the theme and the plugin throught the cpanel, but now my place look a bit like a mess.. :(

It seems that I have lost the \"Salient\" features and options integrated in the Visual COmposer interface so now I can see pure codes bettwen my elements as you can see in the attach files.

Please could you give me a hand with that??

Ok thanks but what is Salient VC? Where can I find it?

it comes with the theme. if you deactivate the stand alone version of visual composer, you should be prompted to install and activate the salient visual composer.
