Could you try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
You can wait out for the Salient 7.0 Theme update due out by tomorrow that has the latest VC 4.9 and check if it works . If it doesnt you will have to contact the plugin developer to resolve the conflict.

i´ve installed the latest version of salient on the latest wordpress engine.
1. The Slider "home" is not switching between the images 1+2
2. I can´t edit the content elements (the green pencils...on the screenshots!)
Do you have any ideas?
