Updated to the latest version of salient and black bars have started to appear at the top of the home page above the nectar slider. I\'ve looked through the public tickets and tried some of the suggested solutions without any luck. Please advise.

I applied the code you specified below as the black bar was also appearing on the home page - and it removed it.

Above css will hide it.
