Currently using Salient v7.0.6 on Wordpress 4.4.2.
It appears that since the update to 7.0.5 the Pie Chart widget no longer displays. The widget content and configuration all appear to be sound in VC. However, when viewed in the front-end there are just empty blank spaces where the widgets used to be. If you look at the attached screenshot I have added red circles to indicate where the widgets should be.
I have tested this on 2 other websites also running v7.0.6 and get the same results.
I was having the same issue, but I made my whole website disappear trying to achieve it!
I changed the line in my function.php file threw Filezill using Dreamweaver, but since I replaced the file my website doesn't display anymore. I put the original line back but it still won't display. Please help :'(
Please update to Salient Theme Version 8.5.0 and Salient VC 5.2.2.
If you are not seeing the Plugin Update Notification you need to uncheck the " Disable Theme Reccomended Plugin Notifications " Field in "Salient Theme Options Panel" -> General Settings -> "Toggle Theme Features" Section .
Tahir, I was able to make my website display again. The code line you said to put in the function.php file seemes to be wrong, that's what made my whole website disappear. I was able to replace the line in a correct way, but my pie charts still don't display. Is there an alternative to fix that?
