Hi. Salient is a recent purchase for me and so far I'm loving it. I'm not a developer and don't have much WP experience but it's all been very straightforward so far.
I'm just beginning to introduce a custom font called FreeSet Light – http://myfonts.us/td-TC0bbi – as my body font.
On my demo home page – http://demo.johnstonopen.co.uk – you'll see a regular block of text and the same block of text below it wrapped in a <ul> tag. They are clearly different font weights. It happens in both Safari and Chrome on Mac, but not Firefox. I don't have access to Windows browsers.
Can you explain why this might be happening? To me, the text in the <ul> is the correct weight.
The same anomaly is true when using Open Sans. I have attached a a screenshot.
This seems to be confined to Safari and Chrome on Mac. In Safari my iPhone and iPad both blocks of text (in both FreeSet and Open Sans) look the same.

Hey ,
Add this into the Custom CSS box located in your Salient Options panel (Make Sure there are no red cross in the Box) :
Best.
