    Hello,

I am confused. I have selected the centered menu option - but am totally at a loss at how to target content into the 3rd column. Is there a widget for it?

I would like to use that 3rd column for links to social media etc. Just as in this example:http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-ecommerce/

    Please help me! :)

    Hey ,

No i am afraid we dont have any widget. It is just to show that the logo would be centered.

    Best.

I am also looking into this. You mention that's "just to show that the logo would be centered " but I think you're referring to the "Centered Menu Alt." I think Michelle and I would like to know about the third column for the "Centered Menu", see my attached photo. Thanks for your help!

Me, too, I have the same question. How do I get something into that third column?

    Hey Ralf,

That third column can only have a Off Canvas Menu and Search Icon . Also in Salient 7.6 we added in new layouts:

    Relevant Docs Article : http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/theme-options/header-navigation/

    Thanks

Thanks Tahir. Yes, I am referring to those layouts. I use "Centered Menu", but in "Menu left aligned" it is similar. there is a single item on the very right. Are you saying that the only things that can be placed in that spot is search icon or off canvas menu?

In the "Relevant Docs Article" that you linked, the example site has a "Buy Now" button to the right of the menu - this is exactly what I need. How has that been achieved in the example? (For me, it needs to be detached from the menu, to the right hand side of the page)

Yes the Right Menu side is reserved for the Theme Icons . The Buy Now Button is part of the Main Menu add has a Button Style added via Appearance - > Menus :

"Menu Item Style" is missing in my options. How do I get it to show up?

    Tahir replied

Its Visibility is attached to the Link Target Property in the Screen Options :

That was the first thing I tried. But switching on Link Target only shows the link target checkbox, no Menu Item Style dropdown.

Then you are liking using an older version of the Theme. Please update to Salient 7.6 .

Update the theme by following this guide: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/ .

    Best.

Yes, it was 7.5.x. I upgraded to 7.6 now. Made no difference, still no dropdown.

Any fix for this? I"m having the same issue.

Travis, as it turned out (the way I understood), the third column cannot be targeted directly. So to get a nicely styled link you would use the dropdown option that Tahir showed in his screenshot ("Menu Item Style"). But the dropdown doesn't exist in my version, perhaps not in yours either. So we just need to wait for an update. Maybe there already is one, I haven't checked lately.

Anyway, meanwhile I programmed my button directly into the template.
