Now and then I get notifications that there's a new Salient version. I download the new version. However, there seems to be no visible indication of what version I have just downloaded.  

The filename of earlier versions I had previously downloaded is identical as the later version I might download today. If I peek inside the zip file, there is a readme file, but it has no version information. I have peeked at the code of files like index.php but find no indication of version.

Of course, AFTER I install it, inside Wordpress, I can go to Salient | Theme Info, and it will tell me what version I am now running.

However, it would be much cleaner and less confusion if I could tell what version I possess BEFORE I install it. As it is now, I could easily install an earlier version by mistake, because there is no indication of which file earlier and which is later.

So here is my question -- how can a customer like me tell what version is INSIDE a zipfile of the Salient theme?
