My video background has an aspect ratio of 21:9 rather than 16:9. When I resize the browser window to a smaller size, you can see black bars on the top and bottom as if it were 16:9. It seems like I can't change this because javascript is adding a width and height on the video's containing div. Is there a way that you can suggest get it to size to 21:9 rather than 16:9?
I don't need a code snippet. Is there a way to overwrite the variable that is constraining it to those proportions though? I can write custom javascript, I just wanted to know if there was anything I could do easier than re-engineering the whole thing.

Assigning it to the Developer so that he can add in a response.
