WP 4.5.2 Update & Broken editor

    Hi Ya,

    Ive just upgraded to WP 4.5.2 and now my Visual Composer has stopped working and i can no longer edit any of my pages and posts. The whole page construction has completely disappeared, although the site is still there in classic mode.

    Please help

    This morning i have reinstalled wordpress 4.5.2 and using Envato Wordpress Toolkit i have updated my theme. I have checked for plugin updates & arrived at this:-

    Salient Visual Composer UpdateSalient Visual ComposerPre-PackagedRequired

    4.9.2Installed version:

    4.11.2Minimum required version:

    4.11.2Available version:

    		Active, Requires Update

    I then receive the following message:

    Installing Plugin: Salient Visual Composer

    To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit Settings to activate your Visual Composer.

    When visiting settings i get:-

    You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.


    I still cant access any of the pages i built with page builder only via classic mode.

    Hey ,

    Simply delete the old VC and then install update it.

    Ok, So deleting the old visual composer & reinstalling the updated version worked.
