I was wondering how I could create a slider like you guys have here below the text 'more demo's below':

I really like the way it shows half a slide on the left and right of the main slide that is visible.

Thanks, that works. However, I see I set the size for the images in the settings of the 'image gallery' but for some reason it always blows it up to a specific size. Have a look at this page at the bottom. http://klankkanal.com/portfolio/show-me-some-samples/

You see two instances. The first one is set to 'full' in image size. My full image size here is 600x400px. It shows it bigger than that.

In the second instance I uploaded images of 350x250 and set the image size to this as well. It still shows exactly the same which isn't great as my images show poor quality. 

I'm probably doing something wrong, but what?
