I have been trying to replace the nectar slider with a particle image slider, and am coming to some roadblocks. The process I followed to replace the nectar slider on my home-page was as follows: (1) Remove nectar slider in page builder on home page, to leave header open for the nectar particles. (2) On the home page, I selected HTML5 Canvas Background (3) Configured and added the desired image to particle shapes. (4) The nectar particles is not showing, and instead I can see the background image I removed before adding the particle image to particle shapes. (5) Checked posts, pages, home slider, and nectar slider sections to make sure the background image being shown was not selected in one of them. (6) Also tried changing to home page from 'default template' to 'home - slider only'.
I have resolved this issue. The background image on the home-page needed to be removed in order to see the particle image. I was not removing it, but instead just choosing HTML5 canvas instead.
