Header Images Won't Load

    For some reason all of our header images on our interior (not the home page) are not loading.  However, other images, like the logo and images in the content will load.  Even weirder, if you view source on any of the pages, like for this one: http://theoblandergroup.com/our-clients/ :

    <div class="page-header-bg-image" style="background-image: url(http://theoblandergroup.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/keo_nascar_charlotte_1600x900.jpg);"></div>

    You can see that it is calling the image, and if you were to copy and paste that image URL into a browser, it loads just fine.

    I have the following plugins installed:

    Advanced Code Editor
    Akismet
    All-in-One Event Calendar by Time.ly
    Contact Form 7
    Google Analytics by MonsterInsights
    Jetpack by WordPress.com
    jQuery Updater
    Salient Visual Composer
    WP Super Cache
    Yoast SEO

    I'm also hosted on GoDaddy if that helps.

    Anything you can do to help would be appreciated!

    Hey ,

    Could you please go through this checklist quickly so we can rule out common issues https://themenectar.ticksy.com/article/5032/ .

    Best.

    THanks for the assist.  Updated the Visual Composer, and that seemed to fix the issue.

    Hey Tahir and team.

    I thought I'd add to this since I'm also having that exact same issue.

    I just updated the theme…

    I ALSO updated Visual Composer (via finding it within the list of plugins >> clicked "needs and update" (or something close to that) > redirected to a page of ONLY the Visual Composer plugin > checked the box >> chose "Update" from the drop down menu.

    Everything looked like it was successful.

    But I have "black boxes" instead of pretty images for my page headers.

    (My wp version is 4.3.5… it's the latest, most secure version within the "dot three" release… you think that's it?)

    I noticed that our logo and the corresponding link to our home page will not load in the header on any of our pages. When I uncheck the USE IMAGE FOR LOGO box in the Salient Header Navigation settings, the website name appears and the link works.

    I have checked, and we have the latest version of WordPress (4.5.3), the latest Salient theme (7.0.9) and all piugins are updated. Furthermore, I have gone through the plugins, one-by-one, and deactivated them - restored the page - and reactivated them. No change.

    Thanks for any help you might offer.

    Hey ,

    @Drew
    Could you try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

    @Tod

    You need to set the Retina Logo as well in Salient Theme Options Panel as that is use for Retina Mobile Screens . See screenshot: http://prntscr.com/a066gd .

    Hi Tahir,

    Thanks for the response. Our Retina Logo is uploaded at precisely double the size of the regular logo as specified. Still no progress. Again, any help would be appreciated. Our temporary fix is that we have hard coded our logo into the header.php file.
