    Hi there,

I'm hoping to get some clarity around SEO with regards to images and css-animated text.

I have added images to both the page header section and on posts using the featured image option. Neither of these register on SEO plugins as being on the page. I've tried this with Yoast as well as Premium SEO Pack available on Code Canyon. Is this just how the theme works or is there a remedy to avoid having those elements be visible to search?

Same story with text elements or images that have a css animation. Once I change the module to a regular plain text and add the text or image, it shows up in the content audit of the SEO plugins.

Can you navigate me to a fix for this or best practice I should be doing?

    Thanks

    Hey ,

The Seo plugins are likely looking for img tags where as why you add images to page header or featured image they are set using css background-image property .

Thanks Tahir. Does this mean that images using the css background property don't get indexed by Google?
