Hello,

Child-theme Salient on my WordPress

is doing weird … menu's are displayed in safari in the middle of a page 

blocks of colors and double logo ,

in the theme page of WordPress 

I get this error massage :

error 1

Description

herringbone5-v1.1Template is missing. Standalone themes need to have a index.php template file.  need to have a Template header in the style.cssstylesheet.

but it is not missing :

/* Theme Name: Salient Child Theme Theme URI: Description: This is a custom child theme for Salient

Or this error massage or both 

error 2

Salient Child ThemeThe parent theme is missing. Please install the "Salient" parent theme.

I have installed again and update everything 

and i am using the theme child that you guys recommended 

So my question is How can i fix this please

I am using : SalientVersion: 7.0.9

I am using :

 WordPress.

Version 4.5.3

I need the Child theme to work because  when I update WordPress to 4.5 from 4.3

i lost all widgets and more so importing css to Salient Custom CSS box in Salient Theme Options Panel -> General Settings Section IS NOT an Option for me
