I've since figured out most, but I could not update this posts title... still can't remove the date.
Been trying the custom CSS you have been posting in other threads but they did not remove the author / category and "no comments" words until I figured out most by placing the new CSS at the top But I still cant remove the date. How can I get hide the date as well?

Add this into the Custom CSS box located in your Salient Options panel (Make Sure there are no red cross in the Box) :
