I need three different types of portfolios: parent 1, parent 2, parent 3. Each of these parent categories have the same named child category: child 1 and child 2.
Thus, I have parent-1-child-1 and parent-2-child-1 and parent-3-child-1 as well as parent-1-child-2 and parent-2-child-2 and parent-3-child-2.
Unfortunately when choosing the categories which are to be displayed in the respective portfolio item, the filtering does not work. The duplicate child-categories are not being displayed in the horizontal filtering, whereas the not chosen parent-category is being displayed when clicked "All" because it has the same named child-category (although the permalink has its own name such as parent-2-child-1) . Except in one parent-category. One always works perfectly. The others are confused.
Is it possible to have different portfolios with the same category names only differing within the permalinks?
I dont see this possible at the moment without custom work. Please consider hiring a freelancer over at Envato Studio for these Theme customizations as they are not provided as Support: http://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy .
it seems that the portfolio categories become confused when using a standard template with a portfolio nectar element.
Now, if i use a portfolio template for my page instead it works well with the duplicate (children-) portfolio-categories. This could offer an alternative for me with one problem: I have planned some more content BELOW the portfolio. But the template only positions the portfolio at the end of the page, above the footer.
Is it possible to add some content below the portfolio display within a portfolio page template?
See screenshot: http://prntscr.com/bshoa9 . You are gonna have to more the_content() php function to below the portfolio thumbs code for the content to show after it.
