    Theme: Salient 7.0.9

    WordPress: 4.5.3

    Hello,

    I am unable to save any of the theme settings in Salient. When I make a change and click "Save Changes", I get an alert that says "There was a problem with your action. Please try again or reload the page." I have attempted on multiple occasions with no luck. This also doesn't work when all of the plugins are deactivated.

    In addition, when I click "Save Changes" the JS console shows this error:

    POST http://dev-100k.thisisvisceral.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php 404 (Not Found)send @ load-scripts.php?c=1&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,jquery-ui-core,utils,plupload&ver=4.5.3:4ajax @ load-scripts.php?c=1&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,jquery-ui-core,utils,plupload&ver=4.5.3:4a.redux.ajax_save @ redux.min.js?ver=3.5.8.10:1(anonymous function) @ redux.min.js?ver=3.5.8.10:1dispatch @ load-scripts.php?c=1&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,jquery-ui-core,utils,plupload&ver=4.5.3:3r.handle @ load-scripts.php?c=1&load[]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,jquery-ui-core,utils,plupload&ver=4.5.3:3

    And also in the console, redux.min.js?ver=3.5.8.10:1 prints:
     There was an error saving. Here is the result of your action:

    <!doctype html>

    <html lang="en-US" >
    <head>

    <!-- Meta Tags -->
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />

    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1, maximum-scale=1, user-scalable=0" />

    <!--Shortcut icon-->

    <title> Page not found |  100k Opportunities</title>

    <meta property='og:site_name' content='100k Opportunities'/><meta property='og:url' content=''/> <script type="text/javascript">

    etc, etc, etc.

    This looks like a Redux issue. Any thoughts? Also, I checked the server and http://dev-100k.thisisvisceral.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php is not missing.

    Thank you!

    Travis

    Hey ,

    Please contact your hosting provider as the Server Security Settings are causing this .

    Hi Tahir,

    Is there something specific that needs to be changed with the server settings?

    Thank you,

    Hey Again,

    It has likely to do with folder or File Permission .

    Also try adding the following line to my wp-config.php;

    define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false);

    Thanks

    Hi, I just updated Salient and it's giving the error "There was a problem with your action. Please try again or reload the page." every time I try to save in the Salient options.  I updated them folder permissions and added define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false);  to wp-config.php and it's still giving the error. What do I need to do to get that working?  Thanks!

    @Marco ,

    Please update to Salient Theme Version 8.5.0 and Salient VC 5.2.2.

    If you are not seeing the Plugin Update Notification you need to uncheck the " Disable Theme Reccomended Plugin Notifications " Field in "Salient Theme Options Panel"  -> General Settings -> "Toggle Theme Features" Section .
