I'm trying to distinguish featured posts from the rest of the blog by applying two different styles to each: meta overlaid to the top featured ones and classic enhanced to the rest below. I've achieved this by the Chrome Console in HTML, but have no idea where the php/css calls are made for home page in the editor so I could replicate it.
I've tried index.php so far and tried to duplicate the div box I thought was responsible for the blog posts, but the replication did nothing. I've restarted efforts on a child theme now.
Help would be very much appreciated and would help speed things up on my side.
