    Tahir, how can I change the default white that appears in the left and right (outside of the main content column) background on a "boxed layout" site? I want the boxed column of the main site in the center to remain white, but want the big white sections on the sides to be dark grey. Thank you sir!

    Hey Holland,

    Simply adjust the Background Color in Salient Theme Options Panel -> Boxed Tab :

    Bes.t

    Tahir, once again I greatly appreciate your swift response however, that did not work for me. I changed the color in the options as you suggested, but cannot see anywhere on the site that that color I chose appears. The left and right sides (and the center content column) remain all white.

    Hey Again,

    Add this into the Custom CSS box located in your Salient Options panel (Make Sure there are no red cross in the Box) :

    body[data-footer-reveal="1"].ascend {
        background-color: #c4c7cc !important;
    }

    Thanks
