We tested that default link i.e. http://www.rivercc.org/?feed=rss and we noticed that the response contains an X-Cache: HIT HTTP header. That type of header is added by caching mechanisms \ software that runs on the server side. Do you have any that does such a job and if so please ty and disable or clear the cache to see if this works.
The same header is added to http://www.rivercc.org/?feed=seriesengine and to any other The issue might also not be with the theme and with something else on your site or host. Try to switch to the default 2015 or 2016 theme and see if the feeds work.
Thanks Andrew. I will give that a try and report back.
I did try to switch to default 2016 theme and that did not fix the problem. Also deactivated all of my plugins so based on what you said and my experimenting seems like it is narrowed down to the webhost as the issue.
I have a plugin called series engine. I have talked with the plugin developer and my web host. They both asked me to turn to you.
My feeds are not working with parameters, they are only working with clean URLs. The plugin I use requires feed parameters.
Here is the page on another site longhollow.com/?feed=seriesengine
Here is the link on my site www.rivercc.org/?feed=seriesengine
My wordpress default rss is not working using the parameters as well www.rivercc.org/?feed=rss
Thanks for your help.
Hi Rodney,

I have these 3 caching programs on the server. Still waiting to hear from host as to which one if any might be the culprit.
ngix
memcached
Varnish
Do you have any ideas how I might sort out which of those might be causing the issue or if one of those are causing the issue?
Varnish was the culprit. It working now.
