    Hi ;-)

since yesterday the ratio of the Article Preview is wrong and squeezed - please have a look at the attachment.

    for example:

    http://www.kaersch.de/hochzeitsfotograf/hochzeitsmagazin-journal/

    http://www.kaersch.de/hochzeitsfotograf/diepeschrather-muehle-hochzeit/ (at the bottom)

What can i do to have the "normal" ratio? Is that a bug?

    thank you

    Hey Torsten,

Could you please install this plugin and check if that resolves it: https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-responsive-images/

    Thanks

    Hey Again,

The size of your Images arent correct.

Try using the Regenerate Thumbnails Plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ to create the correct sizes.

    Thanks

    Hi Tahir,

thank you for your support. All image-thumbnails are regenerated with "your" plugin, but the problem is still there...

The thumbnails are already in the correct ratio - see my attachments, but the display-ratio is not correct.

what can i do? I didnt changed anything.

    Hey Again,

    No its still the same:

Also i noticed you are using a Caching plugin . Please turn it off while in development . Moreover clear your cache using this guide: https://themenectar.ticksy.com/article/6226/ where applicable .

    Best.

    Hey Again,

Could you please remove the Featured image and then scale it down and upload again . I believe since your image is really big that is 4000 pixel wide , Wordpress is not creating a Thumbnail .

    Thanks

    Hi Torsten,

    Thanks for your reply.

There are actually two versions of this regenerate thumbnail plugins.

The one I sent you will actually force the regeneration of the thumbnails hence the name

    FORCE REGENERATE THUMBNAIL.

You may see the difference for both if these plugins in the link below

Force Regenerate Thumbnails — WordPress Plugins

Please try this and let me know if you are still experiencing this issue.

    Cheers!

    Hi Torsten,

    Apologies for the late reply.

The image sizes are a bit different in the ratio i.e. some are tall some are wide but the masonry grid layout does not good job on setting them up properly on the page.

There is a setting that could help with this to make sure the aspect ratio is kept through the masonry grid.
Edit your posts and set the masonry item sizing under post configuration to regular alt from the regular default option.

That should give you better looking images. We could have done this for you but the login does not work.
    Hope this helps.
