I'm struggling to get the typography settings for the Nectar Slider to have any effect. Have tried a variety of fonts and settings and can't get them to change. Note it's in italic.

Thanks, all fixed your, efficiency on these issues is awesome. I've had a look at other posts and I can't seem to see fix to make this title an H1, is that correct? If not I'll place one below in a text box.

Add this into the Custom CSS box located in your Salient Options panel (Make Sure there are no red cross in the Box) :
