We are using the Salient theme for our site ad wedluxefiles.com and recently the Visual Composer plugin that comes with the theme wasn't working right for some reason so I paid for and downloaded the full version and deleted the one that came with my Salient theme, but now when I try to activate this new standalone Visual Composer plugin I'm getting this error message below, can you please help - super urgent!!
"Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wpb_getImageBySize() (previously declared in /home1/bpatters/public_html/wedluxefiles.com/wp-content/themes/salient/wpbakery/js_composer/composer/lib/helpers.php:15) in /home1/bpatters/public_html/wedluxefiles.com/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/include/helpers/helpers.php on line 114"
You need to update both the Theme and Salient VC (bundled in the theme), Not the one you purchased from Codecanyon.
Salient 7.6 is now available for Download on the Themeforest Download Page , Visual Composer has also been Updated to Version 4.12.1.
If you're upgrading from Salient VC 4.9.2 earlier, you'll need to delete the plugin from your plugins section in the WordPress admin panel before installing the current version (4.12.1) in Appearance > Install Plugins - This is necessary due to a bug in the Salient VC 4.9.2 which prevents regular updating.
